A key component of the Christian Book Expo - Dallas 2009 will be the opportunity for publishers to connect their authors directly with attendees through a variety of highly-visible showcase events. In addition to the availability of authors for traditional in-booth signings and meet-and-greet opportunities, authors may also be showcased in several other interactive ways that allow these authors -- and your message! -- to engage directly with the audience(s) you're trying to reach.

• Which authors do you want to feature at this event? Are there “A-level” authors who you know will draw a crowd and generate interest? Contact these authors immediately to get this event on their calendar! Do you have emerging authors who would benefit from this exposure?
  
  
• Will you have new products that could be launched or premiered at CBE? Are there products and/or resources that could benefit from a “users’ meeting” or in-depth training sessions hosted by the author(s)?
  
  
• Are there target audiences that you want to connect with in an intentional way? Would a private opportunity to interact with key authors be a way to express appreciation for certain target groups?

Complete an Author Reservation Form for each author your company wants to showcase during the Christian Book Expo and submit it for official approval. Upon approval, you will be contacted to finalize scheduling, payment, etc. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. (NOTE: Only approved exhibitors may sponsor an author showcase. Authors: contact your publisher directly and request that they submit your Christian Book Expo participation preferences immediately!)
